While we will miss gathering in person this year for our Annual Summer BBQ, we hope you can join us our Virtual Summer Welcome event. This year's event will feature current CMU student and local South Florida resident, Jared Cohen (E 2023), showcasing his virtual representation of the CMU Pittsburgh campus in Minecraft. If you missed the event during Spring Carnival this year or you have yet to experience it, Jared is the lead architect of CMU's Minecraft Campus and will be giving a virtual tour and presentation. After his talk, you will have the opportunity to meet other incoming students and parents, talk with local alumni and current parents and engage with each other virtually before the start of the new school year. This event is open to all incoming students and your families, current students, parents, alumni and friends in the South Florida Network. This event will be hosted virtually through Zoom, so preregistration is required.When:Thursday, August 66-7:30 p.m. ETCost:Free to attend. Registration is required.
