BOS: Tartan Women's Discussion Series - Let's Talk About Race

Event Details

"The best of the human experience comes from a great conversation." Glenn Singleton author, Courageous Conversations about Race

Experts all agree that talking about race in the home, with friends, at work and with family is the best way to heal, identify the root causes and drive an equitable recovery. In this discussion, we will explore the purpose of coming together to talk about race, hear from each other and then dive deeper into how and when we think about our racial and ethnic identity. We'll conclude by sharing ideas about ways to share our discoveries with family and friends.

This event is sponsored by the Boston Network, but open to all Tartan women! This is a continuation of the Tartan Women's Discussion Series, but no need to have attended the previous event to attend this one.

This is a CMU Boston Network Discussion facilitated by CMU Alumna, Kim McCormick (A 1993)

Wednesday, October 14
7 p.m. ET

Free to attend.
