Family Weekend brings together students, families, and friends for a weekend to experience the vibrancy of our campus. Through open houses, academic programming, exhibits, student performances, varsity athletic events, and special events, Family Weekend gives students and their families a taste of the Carnegie Mellon University experience.

COVID-19 ProtocolsIn accordance with Carnegie Mellon’s COVID-19 mitigation policies, all parents and family members attending Family Weekend 2021 are required to be either fully vaccinated or, if not fully vaccinated, must have received a negative COVID-19 test result within three days of arrival to campus. All parent and family members will be required to adhere to all COVID-19 mitigation requirements including, but not limited to the use of a facial covering at all times while on campus. Any changes to our campus posture that will impact the availability of in-person Family Weekend will be communicated to registrants.
