CONNECTS: Accounting for Start-Ups - A Beginner's Guide

Event Details

Tuesday, February 8, 2022
12:30 p.m. – 1:30 p.m.

Presenter: Christine S. Ferguson-Rau

Startup business owners can be a lot of things — an attorney, a designer, an engineer, a CS Ph.D., or a skilled woodworker. What they usually aren’t is an experienced bookkeeper or accountant. Properly tracking your financial transactions is part of being a business owner, whether you have a startup or an established business.

Startup business accounting can be particularly important since it’s likely that you’re operating your new business on a tight budget. Even if you’re lucky enough to have millions backing your business, your investors are going to want to know what you’re spending their money on.  Join us to talk about the "back of the house" for a start-up!
